Baldur’s Gate 3 developers have announced a temporary workaround for memory issues on Xbox Series X/S, allowing players to keep their save data.
PC and PS5 players had access to the game over the summer, so Xbox Series It was later announced and finally released in December 2023.

To use this method, create an account on the Larian website, then in Baldur’s Gate 3 go to the main menu[オプション]You need to go to settings. while linking your Larian and Xbox accounts.[ゲームプレイ]go to tab[クロスセーブ]Choose.
From this point on, your last five save games will be uploaded to Larian’s servers via cloud storage. If the bug occurs again, you will need to re-enable Baldur’s Bate 3’s cross-save feature to access the latest uploaded save.

It’s frustrating that this method is even necessary, but it at least provides one way around the save deletion problem. As mentioned earlier, Baldur’s Gate 3 is a huge game with some difficult boss fights, so any way to safely store your save data would be welcome, at least for now.
It’s unclear when Baldur’s Gate 3’s save issues will be fixed on Xbox Series X/S, but Larian is confident it won’t be long. For the time being, fans will have to rely on Larian’s servers and cloud saves to ensure their save files are exiled to the Nine Hells.
