trip
This traveler took a hands-on approach to annoy his seatmate.
The unsuspecting plane passenger has become the traveler’s enemy number one. A video of them reaching behind the headrest and completely covering the TV screen in the back row of seats was published on social media and went to number one on social media.
The clip is Shared on Redditshows fidgety fingers picking at nails and poking around the display while the program is playing.
Reddit user @d_p_e_k, who posted the video, gave a second-hand account of the incident on behalf of his cousin who “captured the footage during a long-distance flight.”
Very quickly, and in the months that followed, much online condemned this handy nuisance, with one commenter calling it “stupid behavior.”
Many people suggested more diabolical ways to solve the problem.
“Pretend to sneeze and throw some water on it,” someone suggested.
“Should have held his hand,” another wrote.
“Get some ice cubes and wet their hands and lick your lips when they look at you,” another user quipped.
“I would have wiped the booger off his hand,” a fourth man added ominously.
However, some criticized the traveling cousin for choosing to film the video instead of addressing the issue.
“Did your cousin have a bad mouth?” one Reddit user jeered.
“Communicate. It’s not that hard to politely ask them to stop doing something that’s causing a problem. Usually it’s a simple mistake and they’ll apologize and stop,” says another. people advised.
“If you don’t say something, it’s expected,” another concluded.
The screenplay joins a number of recent outlandish air travel antics, all of which are second to Tiffany Gomas’ infamous “Not Real” breakdown.
