A downed tree on Lincoln Drive forced drivers through Philadelphia’s West Mount Airy neighborhood to take a detour during rush hour Tuesday morning.
The tree has already been affecting traffic since about 6.30am on Tuesday, with drivers being advised to find ways to avoid the area.
NBC10’s Sheila Watko said drivers can avoid the intersection by taking Germantown Avenue or taking Lincoln Drive off at Wayne Avenue and avoiding the problem.
As of about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, drivers were driving around the tree along normally busy Lincoln Avenue.
