Yesterday, we reported on issues with the ear tips of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. But that’s not the only problem we’re seeing with Samsung’s latest flagship earbuds. Some buyers have received units with quality defects, and Samsung appears to be taking these issues seriously. The company has halted pre-orders for the earbuds in its country.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro issues cause Samsung to suspend pre-orders in South Korea
Some early recipients of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have reported on social media that the earbuds have quality control issues. For example, some units seem to have uneven gaps and some have finish issues. Some units have blade lights (LED light strips) glowing on different sides. Some units have silicone ear tips that break when removing them from the housing.
Considering these issues, Samsung Listed on the website The company said it was looking into improving its quality control and had suspended pre-orders for its earphones in Korea, but a company representative said the launch of the earphones has not been delayed. The new earphones are scheduled to be released on July 24.
The executive said:Consumers who have any issues with their product can visit our service centre to get the product replaced or refunded. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to consumers.“
Samsung said it would do its best to thoroughly inspect all processes before officially launching the earphones in South Korea to prevent a similar incident from happening again.
The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are still available to pre-order in India, the US and other markets, but the US ship date has been moved to August 28. Some readers in the UK have received emails from Samsung informing them that they should expect delays in shipping their pre-orders.

This is the first time Samsung has launched a pair of stem-design wireless earbuds. The design was popularized by Apple and the industry has been using similar designs for years. With a new stem design, improved algorithms and new voice recording technology, Samsung claims the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will deliver significantly improved call quality.
Samsung has also used a new dual driver audio setup with planar tweeters to improve sound quality, as well as a new high-resolution audio codec called Samsung Seamless Codec Ultra High Quality (SSC UHQ) for 24-bit 96KHz sampling. The earphones also come with Adaptive ANC, Adaptive EQ, and a custom equalizer.
