As Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series launch event approaches, more new details are emerging. The latest set of leaks reveals new high-quality images, along with details of some key AI features in the Galaxy S24 series, including a clone of Google’s Magic Eraser tool on the Pixel 8.
@MysteryLupin Twitter/X Today we published what appears to be an excerpt from marketing material showcasing some key features of the Galaxy S24 series. This includes the previously announced Live Translate feature, which uses AI to translate phone calls.
Additionally, there’s a “Nightgraphy Zoom” that enhances low-light photos when zoomed in. Samsung’s camera suite includes telephoto lenses, but these may not be used in low-light situations, so they could definitely be improved using AI enhancements. Other points that don’t use AI include “high resolution” which only mentions the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 200MP main camera, but “screen display” (which I think is an unfinished language) ) describes a “brighter, flatter screen.” You’ll have more room to do what you love. ”
However, perhaps the most interesting information here is the “Generative Edit” feature. Samsung describes this feature as follows:
Move or delete objects. Fill in the empty spaces with generative editing. Samsung account login and internet connection required.
Sound familiar? There’s probably a difference, but this basically sounds like Google’s Magic Eraser on the Pixel 8 series. This requires a Google Photos backup and an internet connection, which proved to be a point of contention among some after the series’ release. What’s interesting is that even though Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s on-device AI capabilities are much better than Google’s Tensor chips, Samsung still requires an internet connection to use this feature. . Notably, the leaked material states that this feature will be supported on all three of his Galaxy S24 devices.
Earlier in the day, the same leaker also leaked high-res images of the Galaxy S24 series. The image was deleted almost immediately, but perhaps Samsung actively Remove social media leaks, but digital trends I was able to get a copy before it was deleted.
According to previous leaks and Samsung’s recent website, Samsung’s launch event is expected to be held on January 17th. I checked it easily The date before the company removed the information.
