Continuing the storied tradition of being one of the most leaked pieces of hardware ever, Google’s Pixel device has seen the unannounced Pixel 8 Pro appear on the Google Store page. @Android_Setting /X pointed out the image on Twitter on the page Promote Google subscriptions and services (pixel pass not included in it), showing a man making a call with a porcelain Pixel 8 Pro.
Sure, the device looks like renders and images that have already been leaked, including an alleged Google internal video, but how can we be sure? that on the phone that color? As a win for accessibility, the tipster points out that the image’s alt-text description reads, “Porcelain person receiving a call on her Pixel 8 Pro smartphone,” thus dispelling all doubt. I’m here.
I’ll try to zoom in so you can see it better.
As for the history of Google’s hardware leaks, my colleague Sean Hollister already unraveled it when he covered the Pixel 7A leaks ahead of this year’s I/O event.
