CES never disappoints when it comes to pet gadgets. Invoxia is going all out by launching a new smart collar called Invoxia Minitailz which is suitable for both cats and dogs. The company said that this tool is an upgrade from last year Infoxia smart dog collarwhich measures both location and biometrics like your dog’s heart rate.
The Minitailz weighs only about 36 grams compared to last year’s Smart Dog Collar which weighed 130 grams. The company said the weight makes it ideal for both cats and dogs. Additionally, it can be attached to almost any existing cat or dog collar through an adjustable loop.
To track location, the device uses a built-in SIM card and GPS technology to measure movements in near real-time. The company claims that the Minitailz can measure walking, running, and even daily zooming.
The pet tracker can also measure and detect atrial fibrillation (AFib) so you can know if your pet has a problem with an irregular heartbeat. The French company said that if the device detects any anomaly, it will send you an alert.
Given that it’s 2024, any product that displays data in an app will almost certainly have some sort of generative AI element. The Minitailz app has a conversational generative AI agent that creates personalized reports for your pet and answers any questions about it.
There were a lot of dog collars to measure the health and location of dogs. But in the last few years, we’ve seen companies like Catalog record Making products for cat health.
Invoxia’s Minitailz smart pet tracker goes on sale today and the cat version will be available in March 2024. Both versions are priced at $99 devices and SIM subscriptions start at $8.30 per month.
