GeForce RTX 40 SUPER pricing rumors
The new RTX 4080 SUPER is reported to have a lower price than the RTX 4080 at launch.
Reliable source MEGAsizeGPU has revealed the expected price details of the upcoming GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series. Given that this leaker’s information has been consistently accurate in the past, it is considered reliable. It is worth noting that the revealed prices are also consistent with the data shared. Moore’s law is dead.
According to a post by MEGAsizeGPU, the RTX 4080 SUPER will be priced at $999, a $200 price reduction compared to the RTX 4080 non-SUPER when it first launched over a year ago. This particular SKU has seen the most significant price adjustment within the SUPER series, despite relatively modest spec improvements.
RTX40Super Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price:
4080S: 999
4070Ti-S:799
4070S:599— MEGAsizeGPU (@Zed__Wang) January 6, 2024
The 4070Ti-S is on par with the 4080 for most games.

Nvidia’s strategy is to never officially discount its products. Instead, they will launch new products with the same performance at lower prices.— MEGAsizeGPU (@Zed__Wang) January 6, 2024
Meanwhile, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is rumored to be priced at $799, reflecting the exact MSRP of the non-SUPER card at its launch exactly one year ago. Additionally, the RTX 4070 SUPER will be launched at a price of $599 instead of the non-SUPER version, strongly hinting at a price drop for the latter soon.
If the previous speculation holds true, both the RTX 4080S and 4070TiS are expected to replace existing SKUs, while the RTX 4070S is expected to coexist with the current model in the market. The leaker claims that NVIDIA does not intend to officially reduce the price of existing models, at least not officially, but rather to release new graphics cards with the same performance but at a lower price.
NVIDIA will officially announce the RTX 40 SUPER series in less than two days, and the first SKU will be available on January 17th, so we should know soon if the new information is correct.
