Play menu update
The play menu has been updated with a new look, streamlined layout and organization, and quality of life changes.
Match card
- Competitive playlists and additional mode playlists combined into one new competitive card
- You can now queue all 6 competing playlists at once
- Starting with Season 13, competition will alternate between Snow Day and Dropshot each season.
- Season 13: Competitive Snow Day
- Season 14: Competitive Drop Shot
casual cards
- Added two new arcade playlists rotating additional modes such as Heatseeker, Spike Rush, Rocket Labs, and more
- Dropshot and Snow Day are available in these playlists even if they are not in the rotation of competing playlists.
- Replaced 4v4 Chaos with new Big Party playlist
- Big Party rotates between Knockout and 4v4 Chaos
play offline cards
- Added new offline play cards including Exhibition Mode, Season Mode, and Workshop Maps
private match card
- New Private Match Cards have replaced Custom Game Cards, including options for Private Matches and LAN Matches.
Other playback menu changes
- Join existing private matches directly from training or offline matches
- Load and launch another workshop map if already in one
- If you are in a party, you can now see your rank even if you are not the party leader
- Changed the order of the arena list so that standard arenas are listed alphabetically, then non-standard arenas are listed alphabetically.

Trade-in function
Several changes have been made to the functionality of the trade-in system to account for cross-game ownership. These changes do not affect non-cross-game items.
- Duplicates of cross-game items will appear in the trade-in menu until only one instance remains in your inventory.
- The rules that determine eligibility for duplicate transactions are:
- Painted items do not count as duplicates with unpainted items
- The player has one unpainted Cyclone and one black painted Cyclone.Neither item will appear in the trade-in menu
- Identical items with the same painted attributes are considered duplicates.
- The player has two Black Cyclones. One Black Cyclone will appear in the trade-in menu
- Same items with different painted attributes are not considered duplicates.
- The player has one Lime Cyclone and one Black Cyclone.Neither item will appear in the trade-in menu
- Certified items count as duplicates with non-certified items
- A player has one certified cyclone and one non-certified cyclone.Non-certified items will appear in the trade-in menu
- The same item with different certifications is considered a duplicate.
- The player has one Acrobatic Cyclone and one Aviator Cyclone.Duplicate items with low stats will now appear in the trade-in menu
- Painted items do not count as duplicates with unpainted items
Inventory control
- Archived items now appear in the trade-in menu
- Favorite items will no longer appear in the trade-in menu
- If an item is marked as a favorite and archived, the game will respect the favorite status and the item will not appear in the trade-in menu.
