Capcom has never been one to shy away from crossovers with other video games, and now it looks like they can add anime to that list.
The company just released a special Spy x Family vs. Street Fighter 6 animated short ahead of the fighting game collaboration event.
This animation is about a minute long, produced by Wit Studio, who also did the actual Spy x Family animation, and is pretty colorful to say the least.
Things begin with Yor Forger, dressed in black, facing off against Chun-Li on SF6’s Natural Stage, exchanging blows in a flashy sequence in the same 2D perspective as a fighting game.
There have been teasers about this Spy x Family vs. Street Fighter 6 collaboration for some time now, but now we know a little more about it on the fighting game side.
In conjunction with the release of the movie “Spy x Family CODE: WHITE”, collaboration items with “SF6” will be added for a limited time from January 9, 2024.

They haven’t said specifically what those items will be yet, but if there’s any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover, it could be Avatar items or something in the Battle Hub. You’ll probably focus on other things like the stickers you use. You’ll be seeing Anya everywhere in the near future.
Having Chun-Li wear Yoru’s dress would be great if it were available as her actual costume, but with Outfit 3 just released in the game, it’s kind of doubtful that that will happen at this point.
In fact, this isn’t the first crossover anime that SF6 has actually had a short life with, since it featured Grappler Baki earlier this year and is now back with even more Battle Hub items.
