ZOTAC confirms which RTX 40 SUPER cards will launch at NVIDIA MSRP
NVIDIA is pressuring AIB to lower the price to the official MSRP.
NVIDIA works with a variety of board partners who are known for designing models that look great and are often faster than NVIDIA. This reference design, believed by many to be part of the Founders Edition series, puts a lot of pressure on AIB to come up with something new and efficient that is considered better than what NVIDIA has come up with. I’m giving.
Recently, NVIDIA initiated a new review ban for Founder Edition and all custom models. Models sold at NVIDIA MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price) can be presented the day before official SKU launch. For the next day only, you will be able to fully present cards with higher launch prices (no reviews allowed). This day is the release date. This means that customers who want to choose something faster and more attractive should read or watch reviews before making a decision. Or pre-order the hardware and hope you made the right choice.
So, in that respect, NVIDIA’s embargo is flawed, but it favors MSRP designs and gives board partners a reason to have as many such cards as possible. On the other hand, those that do not follow MSRP will only be fully introduced on the same day as the new card launches. The solution to this is actually quite simple. NVIDIA should give him a triple embargo or at least break up his MSRP/non-MSRP cards by hours instead of days. And the release date should be the release date, not the review of the lifting of the embargo.
Speaking of MSRP cards, ZOTAC has officially announced that the Trinity Black series will be available at MSRP. This also applies to the Twin Edge non-OC version of the RTX 4070 SUPER. Notably, cards with factory overclocks debut at higher prices, so reviews of these cards won’t be included in pre-release day coverage.
